Event Safety

The Monterey Bay Half Marathon operates on an
Event Alert System (EAS) to help ensure participant safety.

On race week, the event will announce an anticipated EAS level for event day. Please review EAS levels and stay tuned for EAS announcements on race week.

– Trained medical personnel will be on-site for the event
– MBHM maintains close contact with public safety officials. There are no current safety concerns.
